This means you can stay for 90 days in total without leaving the country. For many travelers, three months is a perfect time to enjoy the island.

Internet speed in areas, such as Bang Tao and Rawai is very fast, often between 300 and 500 Mbps with fiber connection. In early 2026, the time of unlimited Phuket visa runs officially ended. Since late 2025 and into 2026, the Thai Immigration Bureau has officially increased control on visa abuse. Citizens from 93 countries can enter Thailand without a visa for 60 days. However, land entries are now limited to only 2 times per calendar year. Entry by air is still allowed, but it is checked more carefully. Since the crackdown began in late 2025, immigration officers have refused entry to about 2,900 people across Thailand in just one quarter because of visa-run patterns.
